Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the company?

I started AXAT Technologies in 2010 from a very small office that was my home. We started with web development and gradually started offering a whole host of IT services, including mobile app development, UI/UX Design, digital marketing, and enterprise development. As of 2020, we have successfully completed 1500+ projects. 100+ startups to large enterprises have achieved business goals with our highly effective software, web, mobile app development, and design services.

As CEO and Founder of AXAT Technologies, I take up crucial responsibilities like Business Continuity and Operations, Sales, forging Strategic Partnerships, and Managing Key Client Relationships along with Driving Strategic Roadmap for AXAT Technologies. I am always available for all my team managers and teammates whenever they need my assistance. We are a great team of 50+ members who are young, dynamic, and technically strong. Our main motto is to make our customers satisfied with our work. We always look for long term relationships, so we receive multiple projects from our existing clients. Few digital agencies have been working with us for the last five years for their design and development needs; we have been serving them as a dedicated technical partner.

What was the idea behind starting this organization?

I always had a great passion and inclination towards Entrepreneurship from my early years. 

As I grew up, I started understanding Entrepreneurship in more detail, helping businesses achieve their business goals, and creating job opportunities for youngsters. All of this put together has given me the impetus to start something. 

As the internet revolution has started, I found there are multiple opportunities in IT services space. Also, my experience in the IT industry where I have worn various hats managing various profiles helped me further drill down my decision towards starting AXAT Technologies.

What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?

All of our projects will be worked in-house very strictly. We have a team of 50+ experienced developers, designers, and marketing professionals. We have a separate team for each of our services. Based on requirements, we will assign a project to the team, and thus team works under the supervision of Team Leader and Project Manager to ensure timely delivery.

How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?

Project Management and Communication are our core strengths. When working on applications, constant communication and coordination are the most important things to deliver applications successfully. All our Project Management teams are available round the clock for project communication, and we follow agile methodology for projects, which makes our development process easier. Our professionals have mastered the technique of customizing services based on the client’s specific requirements to help their business grow by improving customer base, conversion, and profit.

What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?

We have a client retention rate of around 75%; we receive most of the projects from existing clients. We cover a wide range of industries. We have never drawn any restrictions to cater to certain industries. Some of the prominent industries we have worked with are education, travel, luxury and fashion, retail, hospitality, media, entertainment, and manufacturing.

Mention the parameters which are most important for you in developing a web design.

We understand the role of the design of a website in ensuring its market success as the main goals for any website are traffic and leads. The main factors can be the target audience, appeal, mobile friendly and SEO friendly design, usability, Call to Action buttons, etc. 

We have a dedicated UX expert team that created user experiences for hundreds of websites to date. We also integrate tracking features that allow our clients to see users' behavior like how long they remain on individual pages, conversions from different sources, etc.

What key aspects do you keep in mind while developing a web design in order to enhance its usability?

Our expert UI/UX Designers and specialists work closely with the core development team right from designing phase to testing phase, following a well-defined process, complimenting UI/UX requirements, wireframes, prototypes, UI Development, and Usability Testing. This ensures creativity and usability are infused at every stage of the project, making it exciting and sticky to users. Some of the parameters can be mobile compatibility, navigation, content readability, positioning of Call to Action buttons, using the right design elements, etc.

What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right framework for web design?

Choosing the right framework for web design involves lots of considerations. The key parameters that we always keep in our mind while making the selection of the right framework are the context of usage, easy to install, core library, ease of creating an extension, and more.

Which framework do you suggest your clients to go for when they approach you with an idea? Why?

We suggest the right framework for web design based on various factors, including idea, type of website, business requirements, client's specific needs, etc. Most popular and responsive website design frameworks will be suggested to our clients, making websites user-friendly, meaningful, and highly engaging.

What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a website design?

The cost of web design is mostly based on the following factors: 

● Type of website 

● Design complexity 

● Customization 

● Search engine optimization (SEO) 

● Mobile responsive design 

● Navigation 

● Features, components, and many more.

What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)

We provide three engagement models, Fixed Cost Model, Time & Material Model, and Dedicated Resource Model. Based on the requirements of the client, we recommend a suitable model.

If the client has a clear idea of what and how he wants us to do it, with defined deliverables, we work on the designated timeline and fixed cost. The Fixed Cost model has a clear delivery timeframe and a well-defined scope with low perceived risk. For fixing the budget, we go through the set of requirements, detailed feature lists, and specifications provided by the client. Analyzing all such aspects, we also prepare a detailed functional requirement document from our end to ensure requirements are clear, and then we estimate the budget upon confirmation of the Functional Requirement Document.

If the project does not have defined deliverables or crystal clear requirements, we offer the Time and Material Model that comprises the resources and hours that we suggest and our developers work on. Against the other models, the prospect works most closely with the development team. We invoice clients on an hourly basis with this model.

Dedicated Resource Model provides for specialized full-time resources, has a clear process often defined by the client, and the resources are client managed.

Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?

We don’t believe that minimum budget limitations will help us in taking up projects. Anyhow, we ensure each and every project requirement meets quality guidelines before signing up. We believe that if we work on any project with worth as minimum as 1k USD for a basic website, let us suppose he may come up with mobile app development or digital marketing services requirements, which can sum upto 10k to 20k USD. We will ensure a qualitative approach in project management and communication throughout the project, so our client retention rates are high.

What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2019?

Most of our Project value ranges from 10,000 USD to 25,000 USD. To give you an exact number of 2019, the minimum was 3500 USD, and the maximum was 65,000 USD.
