Google to roll out to Remove Authorship Images from Search engine results pages.

Webmaster Trends Analyst John Mueller announced on Google+ on 25th June 2014 Google will remove showing author profile images and Google+ circle counts in desktop and mobile search results. This global change will take effect in next few days.

"Here is the statement related to this change implemented in Google Author Images. “We've been doing lots of work to clean up the visual design of our search results, in particular creating a better mobile experience and a more consistent design across devices," he wrote. "As a part of this, we're simplifying the way authorship is shown in mobile and desktop search results, removing the profile photo and circle count."

While the user interface and eye-catching tests have shown that having an image appearing in the search results increases CTR click-through rates and it attracts users' to click on specific results and find what extra information and service or product this website author providing. eyes to a result a searcher might otherwise overlook, Mueller commented that Google's "Research indicate that click-through behaviour on this new less-cluttered design is no change data to the previous one."

Many SEO consultants who are disagreeing with Mueller's assertion. Many of them provided visual data related to authorship and traffic and click drop in a particular time period. Kristine Schachinger SEO expert is said that he has lost is authorship image three times intentionally and get click drop of approximately 25 percent every time. It is looking like proving experiment that if image disappear from search result then traffic of popular website will somewhere suffer.

Google authorship especially works for writers and publication house and new product introduces. It is a new concept when introduce very useful for emerging brands and new content publication media. Popular brand only used 3.5 percent. Google sets a guideline related to display search results of Google authorship adopted brands. It is a 20 to 40 percent to result will appear in any search result related to brand and name etc.
